Wisconsin Badgers Roll On

Wisconsin teamates Jon Leuer and Jordan Taylor

Saturday night the Badgers had a tough matchup with the Kansas State Wildcats. It took a whole team effort to overcome the 38 point performance by Kansas State's Jacob Pullen. Jon Leuer led the Badger's scoring attack with 19 points. Jordan Taylor pitched in with 12, Gasser and Brusewitz poured in 11 each. The game was close, and very physical on both ends of the court. Leuer sustained an injury to the head, which required a few stitches. This did not stop the Badger's from rallying behind him, bloody head and all, and pull out a victory in the tournament. This week the Badgers will play the Butler Bulldogs, fresh off of their upset over Pittsburgh. This game took everything that Butler had to offer, and a few mistakes by Pitt, in order to pull out the victory. Who will win? The red hot Wisconsin Badgers? Or the underdog fresh of an upset, the Butler Bulldogs?
