March Madness Is Here!

March is the best month out of the year. Spring is coming, snow is melting, girl scout cookies, shamrock shakes, and most importantly March Madness. The NCAA tournament is by far the greatest sporting event of the year, with its only competition being the Super Bowl. What makes the tournament so much better than anything else? Sixty-four games. Thats sixty-three more than the Super Bowl.

March Madness could not have came at a better time either. The country's attention has been focused on budget repair, collective bargaining, and an NFL lockout. Enough is enough, it is time to take a break from all of this banter. At the end of the day Republicans won't agree with Democrats, and the NFL Players won't agree with their owners, however, there is one thing that eveyone can agree on, March Madness is awesome. Even thousands of non-basketball fans fill out their brackets and watch the games with their full attention, hoping that their bracket is "the one". So let us all take a break from our jobs, school, homework, politics, and arguments, hang out with family and friends, and watch some basketball.
